Create an Energy Tea (All-Natural Ingredients) With Time Release to Boost Energy and Facilitate Exercise

Study Rationale:

A variety of ingredients that function through time release when used in tandem can elicit highly beneficial results aiding in the boost of energy for individuals that want to exercise. Many time-release pills have been developed but may produce unnecessary side effects. In order to combat this, I propose the creation of an energy tea that consists of all-natural ingredients allowing for a boost of energy in individuals that are interested in engaging in exercise and sustaining that elevation of energy throughout an individual’s time of exercise.

Study Impact and Next Steps:

Many ingredients can aid in the release of usable energy through targeting different regions and molecules in the body. Pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B5, helps the body in the formation of coenzyme A which aids in the synthesis and metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats allowing for them to turn into usable energy. This vitamin is water soluble and when ingested in measured amounts, serves as a very efficient energy boost as it attempts to produce energy extracted from the foods you consume rather than in an artificial manner. In addition to pantothenic acid, ashwagandha is an ingredient deep rooted in Ayurveda that plays the role of an adaptogen aiding primarily in stress. This medicinal herb can reduce anxiety and stress and can be taken by all age groups aiding in longevity, overall energy levels, and can even boost brain function. Using vitamin B5 and ashwagandha in tandem combined with numerous other natural ingredients could allow for an overall energy boost both short term and long term in individuals that are interested in exercising.

Aspiring to create an ideal energy tea, we invite you to join me this semester to investigate the plethora of natural ingredients that serve as energy boosters in order to provide a supplemental product for those that do engage in exercise and encourage exercise across all individuals among all age groups.
